Our bamboo paneling is made with a cloth-mesh fabric backing for increased flexibility and easy installation. To change the height of the bamboo paneling, follow the simple steps below:
Roll bamboo paneling as tight as possible before cutting.
Place the roll on the ground and tap to flatten the surface. (Make sure slats are aligned to ensure a straight cut.)
Paneling can be cut into any shape. Use a fine-toothed chop saw blade for best results.
You can alter the length of the roll by cutting the cloth between the bamboo slats with sharp scissors or a razor blade.
After you have cut the paneling, be sure to attach a sturdy construction adhesive to serve as a base. If you are applying paneling to the ceiling, we recommend gluing a piece of plywood to the back before installation. The plywood serves as a sturdy base, ensuring maximum reinforcement. For wall applications, apply contact cement as an adhesive and drill paneling into the wall. You can also staple paneling to any surface, but it’s not recommended for a long-term project.
Our Production Process
To provide the highest quality products to our customers, we carefully select and inspect each item. Our bamboo goes through a series of quality tests before it’s brought to our inventory. During the milling process, the bamboo is smoothed down for evenness and consistency. The bamboo is later stained in different colors and fastened to a fabric fleece cloth. Once the paneling is complete, it is cut into an industry standard size of 4x8. The 4x8 sized paneling is large enough to be cut down even more to fit smaller spaces, too.
