This Tiki Hut, or Palapa is a closed structure with our most popular VIRO synthetic thatch .
This hut measures 11 feet in diameter and provides 10.5 foot area of shade. The poles that hold up the tiki hut are made from eco-friendly lodge pine wood that is naturally sturdy and durable enough to support the hut.
This structure consists of eight octagonal panels. Each panel is made with roofing grade plywood and is ready to assemble. The underside of the panel is covered with our Lauhala Matting.
These tiki hut kits are simple to assemble and require 2 people to complete the project. We include instructions, hardware, 4 pressure treated lodge poles that measure 8 feet in height, a roof frame, eight prepared panels with Lauhala matting attached, and Viro Java 2150 Thatch sub-panels , each measuring 30 ½” L X 24” H. These sub-panels are constructed of durable and eco-friendly HDPE and carry a 20 year warranty. Even though they are synthetic, they will create the lush layered look seen on island huts. As a closed structure, this water-proof Tiki hut can be used to cover BBQ and bar areas, Jacuzzi’s, and more.
